Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Incentives

Improving the energy efficiency of your home may reduce your taxes! Energy tax credits are available for 30% of the cost, up to $1,500, in 2009 & 2010 (for existing personal residences only) for:  windows, doors insulation, metal and asphalt roofs, HVAC systems, water heaters and biomass stoves.  For more information, go to www.energystar.gov and click on Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency.
